27 Feb Chi-Mar Voted Best In Destin
Chi-Mar Construction has once again been voted Best Builder/Contractor in Destin by Destin Magazine‘s Best In Destin voters. Chi-Mar Construction will be recognized during Destin Magazine‘s March 7, 2015, Black Tie Ball at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
In addition to winning this prestigious honor, Chi-Mar Construction is also beaming with pride over the feature on this Seacrest Beach bungalow, owned by Bill & Carrie Shoaf.
Owners Bill and Carrie Shoaf moved for Bill’s job. Bill is responsible for the incredible to reworking and opening of The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach and the Acme Ice House in Seacrest Beach. After falling in love with the area the couple picked up their lives in Park City, Utah and moved.
When the couple began looking for real estate in the area Carrie had the upper hand. Having worked for years as a broker for Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. Carrie found this great lot on the back side of the neighborhood that overlooks a conservation area.
Architect, Greg Jazayeri collaborated with Bill to design the beautiful breathtaking home you see above. Greg listened to the Shoaf’s thoughts and dreams for their perfect home, a contemporary 3,100 square foot “tree house” built around kitchens and outdoor porches.
Now this where is Chi-Mar Construction comes in. Marty Williams and the Chi-Mar team helped guide the Shoaf’s from start to finish of their custom home. “What matters to me most in personal style of a home is how the family feels when they are inside. I would like family and friends to feel at home, comortable and loved – to have a feeling like you don’t want to leave. Give me a comfortable master bedroom/bath and a huge walk in closet and I am happy,” explained Carrie.
Chi-Mar Construction was up to the Shoaf’s task and made their dreams a reality.
